Diabetic Eye Screening/Grading staff
All new clinical staff must undertake the Health Screeners Diploma qualification. Existing staff that have completed the City and Guilds qualification do not need to retake this qualification. Diabetic Eye Screening/Grading staff are able to select a specific sub-pathway that relates to their role. For example, there are a series of sub-pathways for Optometrists because they do not need to take the entire qualification. Additional individual units may be undertaken for the role development e.g. an existing screener that holds the relevant City and Guilds qualification for screening need only undertake the grading specific unit of the new qualification.

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening staff

Newborn Hearing Screening staff
Newborn Hearing Screening staff:
