Common Vitreoretinal Conditions

This course has been designed for individuals who would like to develop and improve their knowledge of common vitreoretinal conditions, and the differences between them. Whilst anyone can register for this course, its primary focus is to support Optometrists in their clinical practice and CPD, providing clinical pearls to inform the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with full thickness macular hole, lamellar macular hole, vitreomacular traction or epiretinal membrane.
The teaching is provided by Gloucestershire Research & Education Group and participants will receive an in-house certificate from the Gloucestershire Research & Education Group, on successful completion.

By the end of the course the student will be able to:
- Be up to date with the latest information and treatments about vitreoretinal conditions and so support the skills required to manage these conditions appropriately
- Understand at what stage these conditions require treatment and referral, allowing you to manage vitreoretinal conditions within your limits of competence
- Perform the appropriate selection of OCT scan types and other tests to correctly identify and manage a range of vitreoretinal disorders
1 non-interactive CPD point is available to those relevant who successfully complete this course.
