Glaucoma and Glaucoma Mimics

This course has been designed for individuals who would like to develop and improve their knowledge of glaucomatous optic disc features and their differentiation from other conditions that show disc changes similar to glaucoma. Whilst anyone can register for this course, its primary focus is to support Optometrists in their clinical practice and CPD, providing clinical pearls to inform the diagnosis, treatment, and management of glaucoma, and its mimics.
The teaching is provided by Gloucestershire Research & Education Group and participants will receive an in-house certificate from the Gloucestershire Research & Education Group, on successful completion.

By the end of the course the student will be able to:
- Define and recognise common glaucomatous disc changes
- Recognise that other conditions may mimic the optic disc appearance of glaucoma
- Demonstrate an understanding of OCT scan selection for glaucoma screening
- Understand the strengths and limitations of OCT use in glaucoma screening
1 non-interactive CPD point is available to those relevant who successfully complete this course.
